For two pennies a day, Teamsters who serve and protect in law enforcement can receive comprehensive legal assistance and security with the Teamsters Legal Defense Fund.

The nationwide program offers any Teamster working in a law enforcement-related job peace of mind and protection during civil and criminal incidents. For just $7.24 per month, workers can receive experienced legal representation for charges brought about on or off duty across all jurisdictions.

Teamsters Joint Council 25 represents thousands of men and women throughout Illinois working in law enforcement. From the 3,200 Cook County Correctional Officers represented by Teamsters Local 714 to the 300 Master Sergeants of the Illinois State Police represented by Teamsters Local 726, union members statewide are eligible to participate in the fund.
