This Halloween, Give Teamster-Made Candy

From Nestle to Pez, Teamster Treats Offer Something
for Everyone

Halloween is this weekend and, if you haven’t bought loads of candy already, now is your chance to support your Teamster brothers and sisters with Teamster-made treats.

Dum Dum Pops have always been a Halloween staple, but you can now proudly support them knowing they are made by Teamsters Local 20 in Bryan, Ohio. At Spangler, the company that produces Dum Dum Pops, Teamsters also make Circus Peanuts and Saf-T-Pops.

Workers with Teamsters Local 26 in Bloomington, Illinois are the men and women behind Laffy Taffy. While taffy is a great choice for filling those bags with candy, it’s only one of the myriad Nestle products made by Teamsters. Baby Ruth, Butterfinger and Pearson’s Nips are also popular union-made products.

Remember Ring Pops? Well they’re still around and the flavors sound better than ever, like Twisted Blue Raspberry Watermelon and Strawberry Ice Cream. Rings Pops will be that much sweeter this year knowing that Teamsters Local 229 in Scranton, Pennsylvania makes them.

And don’t forget about Pez. The colorful candy that’s been entertaining kids of all ages for decades is made by Teamsters Local 443 in Connecticut.
