Mike Yauger, Teamsters Local 786 President and Teamsters Joint Council 25 Helmets to Hardhats Representative

Hello, my name is Mike Yauger. I'd like to take this opportunity to announce a program called Helmets to Hardhats, which connects returning veterans with good jobs. This program is a first step in saying thank you to our returning vets for putting their lives on the line to protect our great country.

As a veteran myself, I know personally that returning to civilian life can be difficult. But we can help them by supporting Helmets to Hardhats. Every day, well trained, disciplined, smart young men and women are returning home. They have fought hard and sacrificed a lot to protect the American Dream.

This is our opporutnity to give them a first step in gaining that dream for themselves. The Teamsters and Helmets to Hardhats can help this new generation of veterans find the right jobs for them.
