Veterans Information for Helmets to Hardhats Job Fair

Dear Veterans:

My name is Mike Yauger, and I am the Teamsters Joint Council 25 Representative for a program called Helmets to Hardhats. Our program is designed to assist returning veterans in obtaining meaningful career opportunities.

As you may know, the Teamsters represent many workers in the construction trades. But, the Helmets to Hardhats Program is not limited to construction or even union jobs. Our goal is to find employment for the men and women who have honorably served our country in a variety of settings.

As a Vietnam veteran myself, I know how hard it was for me to transition from military to civilian life. You are not alone. Helmets to Hardhats stands ready to assist you in this transition.

Helmets to Hardhats is hosting a Job Fair for veterans on August 28, 2007 at Navy Pier. We have immediate positions avilable through our corporate partners who are providing employment and career opportunities.
