Program Obtains Union Jobs for Veterans

Michael Yauger, Teamsters Local 786 President, visited the movie set of Witless Protection in Vernon Hills, Illinois, to discuss the Helmets to Hardhats program with comic “Larry the Cable Guy” Dan Whitney.

“Throughout his career, [Larry] has shown a real commitment to supporting veterans,” said Yauger. “I really enjoyed meeting him and discussing our program. It is really great to see all the support we are receiving.”

The Teamsters Helmets to Hardhats program connects recently discharged military members to quality Teamster jobs around the Chicagoland area.
