The Coalition held the 35th Annual Unity Testimonial Awards Banquet at the Palmer House Hotel in downtown Chicago.
“Organized labor is such an integral part of this country,” said Yauger. “I feel so honored to be receiving this award from the Coalition. We have the same goal of building bridges between labor, business and government to make things better for working men and women.”
After a distinguished military career, Yauger has devoted himself to helping working families and military veterans. He began his career at Teamsters Local 786 in Chicago lobbying for heavy and highway construction, and quickly moved up as an officer in the local and a delegate for Teamsters Joint Council 25.
