Freezer Workers Say Yes to Teamsters

Local 703 Welcomes Supreme Lobster & Seafood Workers

Supreme Lobster & Seafood Company Workers voted to join Teamsters Local 703 on January 10. 

“The Teamsters are very happy to welcome our new members to the union,” said Thomas W. Stiede, Teamsters Local 703 Secretary-Treasurer. “The workers turned to the Teamsters because they know we will fight for their rights.” 

The 13 new members work in the freezer facility in Chicago. Teamsters Local 703 also represents 45 drivers for the company.

Supreme Lobster & Seafood Company started in 1973, and is a leading distributor of seafood in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and Michigan. 

Teamsters Local 703 represents more than 4,800 members in warehouse, landscape and delivery industries.
